Des McNulty

Des McNulty has a long history in local government. He was the MSP for Clydebank and Milngavie for 12 years. He has a particular interest in health and poverty issues seeing these problems in some of the poorest regions of the world through his work with the World Health Organisation

He has been involved with Jubilee 2000 and supports measures to provide support to reduce poverty and improve health both in the poorer countries and in Scotland.  He is a member the Tron Theatre Board, and played a lead role in Glasgow's International Festival of Architecture and Design in 1999.
