The Wise Group's Chief Executive and Leadership Team bring together a mix of experience and skills that provides strong leadership and management of the organisation.
Visionary and committed, they work to deliver the Wise Group's mission and vision by defining our strategic objectives and putting them into practice.
Laurie Russell, Chief Executive
Laurie has 30 years’ experience in economic and social regeneration. He is the Chair of Social Enterprise Scotland and a member of the National Economic Forum in Scotland.
Margaret Maclean, Director of Organisational Development
Margaret has 25 years' experience in the public sector at a senior level and is a Board member for the Social Enterprise Academy. She has BA in Accounting and an MSc in Human Resource Management.
Emma Black, Assistant Director of Programme Delivery
Emma has a background in the development and delivery of training programmes. She specialises in designing services giving unemployed people practical skills, that employers’ need, thus helping move them into sustainable jobs.
Paul Fagan, Assistant Director of Development
Paul has 15 years’ experience of working in economic development, regeneration and business development within the public and third sectors. He has a BA (Hons) in Social Policy and a Post Graduated qualification in Careers Guidance. Paul also has a Certificate of Management from the Institute of Leadership and Management.
