Income Maximisation
The Wise Group’s Income Maximisation project is available to all East Ayrshire residents. It helps people identify the benefits they are entitled to.
On request, a trained advisor will visit the resident’s home and using a computer system provided by East Ayrshire Council, they will input the customer’s details and identify possible additional benefits.
In 2010, the project helped 98 customers to identify and claim benefits they were entitled to but not receiving. Helping them claim an average of £51.36 per week in additional income, which over the year would put in excess of £261,746 back into the local economy.
