Specialist (Strategic Business Unit Coordinator)

We are looking to recruit three Specialist (Strategic Business Unit Coordinators) based in our Glasgow Office.

Each post holder will be a vital member of their Strategic Business Unit (SBU) working within a matrix structure in a dynamic team environment. Post holders will be responsible for the efficient and professional direction and operation of administrative activities for the SBU.  Responsible for leading on SBU priorities, managing general office communications and processes, providing confidentiality and formality in conjunction with strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide professional administration support.

The role will include senior administration support for Heads of Operations and the wider business unit. Situated at the heart of much of what the SBU does, the Coordinators will have a genuine responsibility to identify and implement effective ways of working, and to act as a steady anchor for a dynamic and busy team.

The ideal candidate will be able collate and prepare bid documentation, presentations and reports. They will have experience of managing complex diaries and meeting administration. This role would ideally suit someone who has PA experience and also provided support to a team.

To be considered for this post you must have demonstrable experience of coordinating support in a busy office environment over a minimum of 2 year period. You will have highly competent IT skills across standard Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with a typing speed of at least 50 words per minute with 95% accuracy.

Location:             Glasgow (although there may be travel throughout Scotland and the north east of England)

Hours:                  35 hours per week

Status:                  Permanent

Salary:                 £19,000-£23,000 DOE + excellent benefits
