Starting on the programme
We will outline all the benefits of the programme, advice and support you will receive and our customer promise. We will then create an action plan with you to help you get into work.
Looking at your personal needs
We will provide a range of activities and training to help you. These could include Mindset, Lone Parent or Health related courses. We will also offer you work taster or volunteering opportunities.
We design academies for a variety of different areas with local employers such as construction and retail. They tell us the skills they need and we place people on courses tailored for them. After an academy you are then offered a work placement which can last between 2 and 4 weeks.
Matching you to the right job
We work with employers of all sizes across the city. We will match you to the right job at the right time in your journey.
We will continue to support you during the first six months you are in your new job. We want to ensure you will make a success of your new role and
will help you access any further support you may need.
The Wise Group works on behalf of Dundee City Council with funding from the European Social Fund to help people back into work. We also work in partnership with other organisations across the city to deliver the programme.
