Home Energy Scotland is a free, impartial advice service to help householders, communities & businesses across Scotland to create warmer homes, reduce fuel bills and help tackle climate change.
Current Opportunities: Get Ready for Winter: Advisors can check eligibility for discounts from energy suppliers & funding and grants available for new boilers, insulation & heating systems. Support for employers includes free online energy saving workshops.

Our Home Energy Advice Team provide one to one energy advice & advocacy support for people worrying about their energy bills or struggling to stay warm at home, including the more vulnerable.
Current opportunities: Current opportunities: As the weather gets colder we don’t want anyone living in cold, dark homes, fearing the cost of turning the heating on or switching on the lights. Our team can check if customers are eligible for a Warm Home Discount grant of up to £140 toward electricity costs.

Fair Start Scotland offers job seekers dedicated support with writing CVs, applications and covering letters, preparing for interviews and helping people get ready for moving into, or back into, work.
Current opportunities: Connecting people with local employers and their vacancies, helping job seekers to navigate online job search and find suitable roles and opportunities across the West of Scotland.

Empowering people from East Ayrshire, aged 25 and upwards, to develop the necessary skills to take control of their finances and employment prospects, whether they are in work or not.
Current opportunities: LifeSkills, created by Barclays, offers learners a number of free, easy-to-use, flexible modules which will motivate and encourage them to reach their full potential. Each Friday we will host three 90 minute online learning sessions covering topics relating to financial skills (managing a budget, saving money, making the most of your income) and employment skills (writing a CV, job searching, finding better employment, doing well at work).
