Health & Safety

This 1 day course is aimed at providing individuals with the essential knowledge & understanding of a broad range of health & safety issues.

It is designed to assist them to assess risks and hazards, operate safely and to be aware of how their actions can affect the health and safety of themselves and others.

A multiple choice examination has to be achieved to obtain the award.

Control of Substances Hazardous to Health

This half-day course is designed for those who intend to operate in an environment that uses substances hazardous to health.

It introduces candidates to substances, the risks and controls available and outlines what to expect from a control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) assessment.

This qualification will prepare individuals to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances.

A multiple choice examination has to be achieved to obtain the award.

Manual Handling

This half-day course introduces candidates to the potential hazards & risks involved with lifting/moving/carrying a load, and outlines what to expect from a manual handling assessment.

It will enable people to develop safer manual handling techniques when moving a load, based on the legal requirements of The Manual Handling Operations Regulations.

A multiple choice examination has to be achieved to obtain the award.
