If you are starting out from scratch or were recently made redundant, we can help you to improve your work skills and get closer to the job you want.
Fair Start Scotland, the Scottish Government’s flagship employment support service, is here to help anyone who is currently unemployed and looking to get into, or back into the workplace.
The service is free to access and offers up to 12 months of expert support to help you overcome whatever is holding you back from the finding the right job for you.

Employment support

Our Work Coaches will work with you to boost your opportunities through access to training and qualifications, learning new skills, writing a cracking CV and preparing you to impress during an interview.
Whether your goal is to land the perfect part time job to fit around parenting or caring responsibilities, or you have ambitions of working full time, our Work Coaches and Employer Engagement team will be by your side to help you explore local job options.
