What’s the opportunity?


An excellent opportunity has become available for a Home Renewables Advisor to join the Wise Group Team, working with our HES partnership. You will join a specialist team responsible for delivering in depth advice on home renewables technologies, energy efficiency and energy storage to householders across the Strathclyde and Central area.  


Working closely with colleagues in the Home Energy Scotland advice centre and with the support of the Energy Saving Trust, you will provide detailed advice to householders through; in-home visits, written reports, by telephone and at public events. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of specialist advice and customer service. The service delivers key outcomes in relation to operational targets and you will work closely with colleagues and partners to maximise delivery potential.


Who are you?


You will be self-motivated with excellent customer service and communications skills. You should have the drive and enthusiasm to achieve excellent results, overcome challenges and find solutions to achieve the best outcomes for customers.


The following experience and qualifications are preferred:


  • City and Guilds Energy Awareness
  • City and Guilds Renewable Energy in the Home or equivalent
  • Domestic Energy Assessor
  • Experience of delivering energy efficiency advice directly to householders


The role will be primarily home based, however, due to the travel involved to deliver face to face advice and support, a full driving license is required.

Hours                   35 hours per week (Flexible Working)
