The Inverclyde Home Energy Advice Team will give you advice on all aspects of home energy use, including how to reduce your energy bills.

All home visits are pre-arranged and staff member identification is provided on every call. A password scheme is provided where requested.

i.HEAT works closely with local Inverclyde organisations such as Inverclyde Council, Money Matters, Starter Packs, Financial Fitness, Macmillan Cancer Support. They also work in partnership with Inverclyde Advice First to ensure that you receive the benefits and pensions that you are entitled to. i.HEAT can offer general energy advice through to in-depth energy advocacy support including:

  • Energy advice that meets your needs
  • Support on how to get the best out of your heating system
  • Advice on how to read your meter and monitor your energy usage
  • Impartial advice on the best energy deals and assistance if you choose to switch energy supplier
  • Assistance to agree budget plans and ensure that any outstanding balance is repaid at a reasonable rate
  • Act on your behalf with energy suppliers and support to resolve any energy issues no matter how long it takes.

As an essential part of the service, the i.HEAT energy advisor will endeavour to signpost and connect customers with other groups and access support in the area.
