Inverclyde Home Energy Advice Team (I:HEAT) are seen by the Inverclyde community as a trusted source of energy-related support. Since the project began in February 2014, I:HEAT has built a strong, trusting partnership with River Clyde Homes to deliver a number of energy-related services that support their tenants.
The support provided to River Clyde Homes is many and varied. Everything from advice on behavioural changes and reducing running costs to supplier switches, debt support and access to industry initiatives such as Warm Home Discount.
The Wise Group’s I:HEAT team provided valuable support, both pre and post installation, to tenants as they made the switch high cost, low heat storage heating to a newly installed energy efficient gas central heating system.
When an innovative biomass district heating system was installed, our team was on hand for householders making the switch from more traditional systems.
And, as winter approaches, the I:HEAT team supported River Clyde Homes to identify and engage with elderly tenants to ensure that they are prepared for the winter months.
