Talent Match North East, a programme delivered by the Wise Group with funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, has launched a new one-day course to prepare young people aged 18 – 25 for the success in the workplace.
The course will cover everything from health and safety to equality and diversity. Experienced work coaches will work with participants to support them in identifying their strengths, writing winning CVs and applications and interview skills.
With youth unemployment set to rise as a result of the pandemic, our Talent Match North East team are here to give young people in the region the best possible chance in a competitive labour market.
Victoria Manion Adams, a coach on Talent Match North East, said:
“We know that the many young people are worried about their employment prospects as a result of the covid-19 crisis. By joining our Talent Match programme, young people will be enrolled onto our one day course which will support them on their employment journey during these difficult times.”
Training will be delivered online and by phone by experienced and friendly team of coaches and can tailored to each person’s needs and interests.
