About Wise Steps
The Wise Steps programme has now reached capacity. If you are looking to increase your job prospects and improve your wellbeing, feel free to call us on 0191 242 4898 and will help you find a suitable programme.
Participants on the Wise Steps programme receive one to one support from a work coach. Together, they look at the personal challenges people may face in finding a job. Wise Steps helps increase life skills, build confidence, manage money better,and helps people get work ready.
Participants also receive support during job search, training, volunteering and work experience, as well as in-work support.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Wise Steps customers are:
- Aged 18 and over
- Legally resident in the UK.
- Able to take paid employment in the European Union
- Unemployed or economically inactive (e.g. not in work, not available for work or not seeking work)
- Experiencing multiple barriers towards getting a job
