Des McNulty
Des McNulty is Deputy Director of Policy Scotland at University of Glasgow. Previously Des was the MSP for Clydebank and Milngavie and has a long history in local government. He has a particular interest in health and poverty issues seeing these problems in some of the poorest regions of the world through his work with the World Health Organisation. He has been involved with Jubilee 2000 and supports measures to provide support to reduce poverty and improve health both in the poorer countries and in Scotland. He is a member the Tron Theatre Board and played a lead role in Glasgow’s International Festival of Architecture and Design in 1999. Des has been on the Wise Group board of directors on and off since 1996 and chairs the finance and audit committee.
